Kevin is both a mechanic at and a part owner of Lil’ Tire Shoppe, bringing more than 15 years of automotive repair experience to the business.

A Purvis, Mississippi native, he takes pride in serving the same community he calls home and helping local drivers keep their vehicles safe, dependable, and ready for the road.

His years of hands-on experience have given him the knowledge to handle a wide range of tire and auto repair needs. As an owner, Kevin is committed to providing honest service, quality workmanship, and the kind of personal attention customers expect from a locally owned auto repair shop.

For Kevin, Lil’ Tire Shoppe is more than a business. It is an opportunity to take care of his neighbors and build a shop the Hattiesburg community can trust.

Darrell has been working in automotive shops since he was 13 years old. Now 60, he brings decades of practical experience and knowledge to the Lil’ Tire Shoppe team. Originally from Seminary, he has spent most of his life learning how vehicles work and how to get them back on the road.

Darrell especially enjoys diagnosing and repairing automotive air-conditioning systems. Helping customers stay cool through the Mississippi heat is one of the most satisfying parts of his job.

Outside the shop, he enjoys kayaking and spending time on the river.

With 10 years of automotive experience, Bobby brings skill, personality, and a little unexpected flair to the Lil’ Tire Shoppe team. He is originally from Buzzard Roost and, outside the shop, is known by another name: professional wrestler Hillbilly Joe.

Whether he is stepping into the ring or putting air in a customer’s tires, Bobby believes in showing up ready to help. His experience and larger-than-life personality make him a memorable part of our local tire shop team.

Penny has been part of the Lil’ Tire Shoppe front desk team for six years. As a Hattiesburg local, she enjoys welcoming familiar faces, meeting new customers, and helping make every visit to our tire and auto repair shop a positive one.

Her favorite part of working at Lil’ Tire Shoppe is simple: the people. From the coworkers she sees every day to the customers who trust us with their vehicles, Penny values the relationships that make the shop feel like part of the community.

When she is not helping customers, Penny loves spending time with her grandbabies.

Travis has spent 15 years working in the automotive industry and brings a wealth of hands-on repair experience to Lil’ Tire Shoppe. Originally from Houma, Louisiana, he takes pride in tackling the kinds of challenging jobs that require patience, precision, and real mechanical know-how.

One repair that stands out in his career was successfully splicing a vehicle frame, which is a job that speaks to his experience and attention to detail.

Away from the shop, Travis enjoys collecting antiques and appreciating the craftsmanship and history behind each piece.

James is one of the newest members of the Lil’ Tire Shoppe team, and he is excited to continue building his automotive repair knowledge. A Sumrall native, he brings a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to improving with every vehicle he services.

James prides himself on consistency. His goal is to learn the right way to complete each repair and then deliver that same level of quality every single time. His favorite movie is Back to the Future, but we unfortunately can't guarantee time-travel vehicle repair services.

Amy has worked at Lil’ Tire Shoppe for two years and is one of the friendly faces helping customers at the front desk. A Hattiesburg native, she enjoys hearing customers share positive experiences and appreciates being surrounded by a team of people who genuinely care about their work.
Before joining Lil’ Tire Shoppe, Amy helped strength-train athletes at the University of Southern Mississippi. Outside the shop, she loves grilling, swimming, floating the river, and spending time outdoors.

For Amy, the best part of working here is the people: the coworkers who make each day enjoyable to the customers who take the time to tell us when our team has made a difference.

CJ is a Hattiesburg mechanic native to the area with two and a half years of professional automotive experience. He also spends some of his free time working on friends’ vehicles, giving him even more opportunities to strengthen his skills and help the people around him.

For CJ, auto repair is about more than fixing a mechanical problem. He takes pride in knowing that his work makes a customer’s vehicle safer and helps ensure they can make it home safely. He especially enjoys performing wheel alignments and seeing a vehicle leave the shop driving straight and smoothly again.

Outside of work, CJ enjoys tattoos and continuing to expand his automotive knowledge.
